J. Matthew Dove

After practicing law in Garden City, SC since 1996, he moved back to this area and practices primarily in the McCormick Office.
While Matt has practiced in almost all areas of law, since 2005 his practice has primarily focused on estate and tax planning, including Trusts, Wills, and Powers of Attorney; residential and commercial real estate and business and corporate law.
Matt has been married to Christy since 2003. They attend New Covenant Church in Greenwood. He loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time with family – which includes the dogs.
Matt still sees the practice of law as a service industry, not a commodity. He believes that an attorney must listen thoughtfully to his clients’ situation and needs in order to properly advise them. The clients’ needs always come first.
